Q. I have an old Hobie 14 without a
comptip and I would like to participate in some NECSA events. In the past I have not
been able to sail in any Division 12 events in the past because I can't see adding a
comptip to the boat. Am I able to participate? A. Yes you can sail at any NECSA event with out a comptip as many times as you wish.
Q. I am interesting in volunteering for the board of directors. How do I sign up?. A. The first two years the Board of Directors will be made up of two representatives from each fleet or organization that joins NECSA.The reps will be chosen by the fleet or organization.
Q. What is NECSA doing for insurance? A. NECSA has purchased the same insurance policy that Division 12 has carried for the past few years. Each NECSA fleet is expected to pay an equal share of the policy. Q. How does NECSA get it operating capital? A. NENSA has loaned the organization $500 to work with and to help cover up front expenses. NECSA will collect boat fees at each sanctioned NECSA event. The boat fees have been set at $2 per boat. This is the same as D12 has operated. |
